John's mom and my mom taught in the Pittsburgh Public School System together. John was an amazing man, thoughtful and a great son to his mother and siblings. We were blessed to have him in our class and although I lost track of John after high school, I know from friends that his love of family and hockey and the children in the leagues greatly admired him.

My condolences to his family and friends. He will be missed. Gina Lackner Ehrhart
