When I uploaded my pictures, I didn't pay enough attention to the steps I followed. I believe anyone can view the pictures using the Lebo1978 album name and password. To add pictures, you need to join and create your own personal password. Then, you should be able to add pictures to the Lebo1978 album. Sorry this is somewhat confusing...

Tammy,
You should have made the trip! Better be there if we have a 35th. I had a great time catching up with everyone. I came away thinking what a likeable group of classmates I have.

OK -here is a little more information about how to post photos on Photobucket: You must join the site, then make your own album of reunion pictures. Then go to the group album (I opened it in a separate window on my computer). In the group album, click on "Add photos and videos to this group". If you are still logged in, you should be able to click the button"from my album". The pictures from your album should come up as thumbnails in the little window. You need to click on the orange dot on each picture you want to upload - a green dot should appear. After choosing the pictures, click on the upload button.
I think these steps should do the trick!

Wow. I wish I could have made it to the reunion. Looks like a lot of fun! You all look great. Thanks for the photos.

I think you can access the album directly by simply inserting this URL in your browser.

ANNOUNCEMENT:

If you guys are enjoying the pictures, and they are a blast, I have more goodies coming for you.

Some of you may have noticed I was shooting HD video at the event. I am currently working on a commemorative video of our reunion. After working in the television industry for 25 years, I've picked up a thing or two on video composition and editing, and my plan is to blow you away with this video. Trust me, I don't think you are prepared for what I have in store.

My plan is to post it on video.yahoo.com, because unlike youtube and most others, Yahoo actually plays back wide screen video. Nevertheless, while this video looks good on the web, it's still small and hardly great. If any of you decide you want to see the video in its full glory, I will offer to anyone a DVD or an HD-DVD (sorry, I don't have a Blu-Ray burner) of this video for free.

Just send me a self-addressed stamped padded envelope (something that I can pack a DVD into), and I'll send you a master-copy. Specify DVD or HD-DVD (not compatible on normal DVD players). The better your playback system (High Defintion, wide screen television, powerful sound system) the more you will appreciate it, but sticking it into a laptop with two tiny speakers will still look better than playing it back off a web site.

I will also offer all the 'raw' video I shot and include that on the DVD as well.

Pretty amazing there is still this much buzz going on via this web site! Great for us!

Eric

UPDATE:

Hey Everyone,

I am planning to release the video to the web this Friday, Halloween.

It turned out really well; to say I'm excited would be an understatement.

It looks like the posts here have really started to trail off, so I will probably also drop personal messages into individual mailboxes and get the word spreading that way.

If I still feel like people have checked out from this site, I may get Susan's master email address list and try and reach people that way.

So spread the word, anyone who was at the reunion won't want to miss this!

For more details, see my post above, and I'll also make a final announcement Thursday when I prepare to upload it, along with my final thoughts and tips for best viewing.

Eric

If you have as much fun watching it, as I had making it, we'll all be smiling!

Best Always,

Lots of good conversation at the Thanksgiving get together...unfortunately I will not be able to make it on 12/27...perhaps the Easter get together or a picnic in the summer...who's up for it?

I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the holiday season

This is when I really miss living in Pittsburgh. Very few people here are as excited as I am about the Steelers' victory. Way to go STEELERS!

In Sunset Beach just south of LA, I watched with three Bethel Park natives. A case of a cause uniting old rivals. The intense game was punctuated by an odd emanation: A next-door neighbor would shine a flashlight through the window in vain attempts to silence our primal groans and cheers. After the win, the host opened a 20-yr-old bottle of Moët et Chandon. Only the best for the Steelers - and a guest from Mt Lebanon.

Addendum: I stopped watching football after the stories came out about brain injury, esp. the Mike Webster story.
